JUST SAYING............ I'm just pointing it out
(after reading)
the first few pages are extremely similar but, the whole philosophy/ of this manga compared to the shown before is completely 180. This one say's that weapons are disposable/ "not something somebody would connect with" and other is that everything has a use case and that weapons are a personalized item.
meaning: this manga basically doesn't spend any time on the weapons itself but more on the story (as far as chapter 2 is concerned)
meaning: the other manga spends more than enough time explaining what the weapons is, how it works etc etc.
I like design and technology, and creativity which is why I'm reading this type of manga. I hope this one can satisfy those expectations of a creative manga

There is also that one Isekai where MC can "grow" anything he wants.
So MC uses his ability to grow Mithril weapons for the other hero girl who breaks everything after a few strikes.

The art is really good, the main elf girl is cute, I love her design, the hero is somewhat cool. Can't comment much on the story at the moment, but I hope they stay consistent with it. Good stuff, I'll keep reading.

I had high hopes for this story but it's totally gonna be trash. Let me explain why,
The story would have been great if it immediately didn't take back us to the past aka edgy times but rather build into how she because the smith of the hero's sword.The hero connects more with the dragon that was chained with him to keep him bound and kill him than our fmc. She is a bland plot device while the Mc is a stoic edgy op character. This is not even done nowadays in parody stories like "Bouken ni Iku Fuku ga Nai!". But this also goes hand in hand with overtly edgy and evil villains. With villains having no hierarchy or competition, no sub-character to play on dynamics or even a mystery to hold on the story; this has a major chance of getting axed or getting yearly chapters by sheer will of the author.
As blacksmithing serves no purpose in this story but to insert a girl as a plot device, I'll deduct that as an element of the story and say "Tsugihagi Darake no Saikyou Yuusha" is a direct upgrade to this story. 4/10
