I've read the suggestion of sorting the Follows list by unread chapters, but sorting doesn't seem to make much sense as the follows list behaves like a feed and is probably meant to always be sorted by Age.
My suggestion is to implement the ability to show/hide already read chapters from the feed. I follow something around 40 series, so my list always becomes a mess of read and unread chapters. This would definitely help users like me to see what's new for reading.
Another approach to this would be to be able to filter out stuff to only show the last unread chapter of the series one follows. If you've read all chapters, then the series could either not show up or the last released chapter could be shown to say you've already read it. It'd behave as something like a "what's next for me to read?". This helps when one adds a new big series that gets constantly released - on your feed, you'd be able to find the next chapter to read right away and the feed wouldn't show the newest chapters as you haven't caught up with the series yet.
