I'm really loving the quality of the images and translation. Which is why I'm so confused how, at this point in the story, we're still translating Luo Lan as a city. Its clearly not a city. Its a a great noble house. We've been introduced to the other 4 of the 5 great houses. A city can't have its headquarters in another city. He's been in Nanfeng City, the regional capital of the Tian Shu district. He's the young lord of a noble house. He isn't a landed vassal of the king per se. He's just a wealthy powerful family. That's why there is a regional governor of Tian Shu, appointment by the emperor, who rules the district from Nanfeng. Hence why everyone was way more aggressive towards him than they would be if he were the heir to lord of the city or province. He could've had them thrown in jail. But he's not a ruler. Also explains how a "city" has elders. That makes more sense when you realize they are CLAN elders.
