really not a fan of how Odysseus is behaving, pretty skeezy dude butting in on something that is at least tagged girls love.

(edit) not to mention the reaaaally sleazy way the kidnapping of the priestess is depicted, bloody hell.

It is a decent, slightly lewd action retelling of the Iliad with a few genderbent characters and a number of liberties to the story. But because it has the GL tag it seems to have baited a few people who clearly are not the target audience for it, most of whom dropped it on ch1 and ratingbombed it.

The complaints i saw here and on CH1 i find are pretty much all stupid because it's either "this is not the GL i want uweh" or complaining about events that are taken straight from the Iliad and well, let's just say the world was a very different place 2800+ years ago. Learn to suspend your disbelief and don't reviewbomb something just because it's not to your taste.

If something is mistagged, then it is understandable some people will react poorly, if you put something in your mouth and are expecting ice-cream and get beef wellington, you're gonna be thrown for a loop, irrespective of whether or not you like the latter, that's just how expectations work.

Furthermore, if something is advertised to you as one a thing you like, and is instead something you very much dislike, the reaction logically becomes more extreme.
