I hate the “There’s another!” Cliche in these kind of stories. I know a lot of the same ground is being covered by different authors in this genre, but never really cared much for this “”“twist”””.

She might not be, considering she was communicating with her old man and apparently following his instructions. It could be that she's just a regular kid, seeing how she even needs to use some drug to change her eye colour, and is acting based on "common" knowledge. Not common in the sense everybody would know it, but not also so esoteric you would necessarily need to be a reincarnator. Even the plan seemed to be to make the girl a priestess so that she could systematically go through orphanages to locate Damian, which suggests they were no wiser than anyone else.

That being said, I don't quite get what the core of her plan is, how is she supposed to get close to the duke and why does it require green eyes. Was this priestess girl's aim to take Ellie's place? However, wasn't Ellie, the daughter of the Empire's famous cat burglar, close to Damian only by coincidence? Well, who knows, maybe Ellie's mother was famous beyond being a thief. Or maybe she wasn't a thief in the first place, but that was only a fabricated accusation to get rid of her for other reasons. I seem to recall someone suggested that already.

I just checked, that girl was Ashabel and had pink hair. It looks like she met the Duke at some point and wants to marry Clyde to get to him?

Not sure about the green eyes though.

Hmm... So, basically this new girl is just a nobody, the daughter of a random noble, who's on a mission planned by her parents to find the Clyde son (Damian), bring him to the Duke of Schuetz, and then just hope the duke will be so full of gratitude he will want her to marry Damian. Then she can bring her whole family under the duke's protection, instead of the emperor's. Or at least that was the original plan. Maybe she doesn't care about her cold father all that much anymore.

I have no idea how she's planning to achieve anything now that she doesn't even have the Damian option. Maybe she's trying to count on having once met the duke on the past. Good luck with that.
