I think with a little reading between the lines you can see that the angel herself has had some memory alterations done to her.

I thought so too. This really give Heisei/Pre Reiwa vibe.
-Simple main plot about lost memory
-Some "creature" suddenly appear in front of MC, and within a few pages it suddenly feels like it's just another Tuesday
-That creature/character suddenly live with MC
-The good ol' lucky pervert
-The MC is (of course) dense, but the heroines fight over him and get violent.

Damn I feel old...

Wanted to say that the entire chapter felt the same as another hundred of supernatural romcom in so many way, now i know why it felt like that
