Considering the new vampire looks exactly like the vampire from the video game I'm guessing that he's either an ex or someone who is sexually harassing her and wants to force her into dating him because he's under the misconception that she's just playing hard to get.

Every time a pair of opposite genders show up like this, they divide up the main couple and try to steal them.

I forget where, but there was a website that allowed commenting directly on images. It was used for translations or additional notes, where people would draw a box and it'd give a pop up when moussed over. What I'm getting at, is that system (which I really like btw) would likely be filled with tv trope information which this pair would be immediately flagged for.

Other than that I can see that author is projecting himself into the mc, he's also into 3d modeling since some of the backgrounds are 3d (which are very well done).
