don't do that !!! on mgg and other sites like that, the stealers make profit despite 1. it not being their work and 2. not even translated by them. the og artists as well, upon seeing the work on sites like that, will feel disheartened and perhaps stop publishing or publish under stricter rules. like what happened to pink heart jam
it's still for free you'll just have to navigate one more site...just like you would when ur moving to aggregator sites

@shooter4hualian There's a reason ALL of us here use sites like 'dex instead of having thousands* of individual bookmarks scattered over hundreds of individual scanlator sites, file repositories or discord channels. Because it is much easier to use and in case of 'dex, you even get neat lists to organize your bookmarks and an extremely useful follows page that doesn't spam your inbox with useless notifications.

So let us find out which one is actually easier:

[li]Find the group page on 'dex. [/li]
[li]Find the discord link.[/li]
[li]Register a discord account (skipped, because I already have one).[/li]
[li]Accept the invitation.[/li]
[li]Look at the welcome page that starts off at the bottom with links to H rooms. Not a negative, but fun to point out.[/li]
[li]Stare at the side panel and try to spot whichever room contains the group's works.[/li]
[li]Click said room, find a link.[/li]
[li]Enter the site and thank the heavens it isn't a blogspot site. Find the manga and chapter I want.[/li]
[li]Use GD's really slow image reader that blurs text if you try to zoom in. Or download the files and read them directly from your PC.[/li]

Now compared to using a less scrupulous aggregator site.

[li]Click first result on familiar site.[/li]

it's more than convenience, it's about respecting both the author and the scanlation group. scanlating is already an illegal activity, and spreading it around doesnt do any favours for either party.

more exposure means more chances of the author finding out and filing a case against the scanlation group, and reuploading to agg sites that a group didnt upload to personally is incredibly rude and might make them stop translating your favourite series. a loss for you.

plus non dex sites make major money off it, while dex doesnt. you shouldnt let illegal reposters profit off someones voluntary work, especially if youre not buying the author's work out of courtesy either. again, this is bigger than you. just be respectful. it's not hard. this is the last time i'll be replying
