For some reason, this series took me so long to finish. I read the first 10 chapters like three times because I kept starting and then dropping it...

It has everything I like in a slice-of-life romance manga, but for some reason, it didn’t really start to click with me until the last 10 chapters or so. I still think it’s a very lovely series and pretty good overall, I just don’t know why it took so much out of me to finish it loll It’s so weird

The moment Hiro is referring to is in Chapter 5, Page 20 so he has fallen in love waaaay earlier than Nagisa.
She was tired from work and going out with coworkers for customary drink, Hiro brought another souvenir to cook with and it was the first time he took over the kitchen.

Aww man, although there was a tiny time skip and chapter was long, there absolutely should be one more chapter with wedding, but most importantly them eating with a bunch of their kids...

That last extra with Hiro's mother Akemi really hit hard, now wonder after she died Hiro lost "all family" as his dad was very much absent and became depressed by it...

As for the story, it was very good, although it's main premise was cooking and eating, there's plenty of romance and even character struggling of past trauma.
Story had decent amount of recipes to try by yourself too.

I'll give it a 10/10, though it should be longer, still deserves a high note.

Thanks for the scanlation till the very end!
