It was going pretty well and interesting, but that last 'twist' is a bit much for me. It's not even chapter 4 and we went from "It's a supernatural curse" > "It's an alien doing experiments" > "The planets going to explode." Normally we'd at least have each of these be 4-6 chapter arcs..
