Good direction for the cheating to be exposed early. It should've ruined the relationship but she understood the reason why the MC did it.
The real reason why she didn't want to have sex is a mature take with her scarring. I also like that their first time having sex was unsuccessful. It would be too easy for the MC to win her over in one chapter.
