I find the girl actually kind of endearing. She's like one of those little dogs that yaps and barks like she's gonna rip your face off from behind a gate, but ends up being harmless once you get past the posturing. It probably helps that not only is she a complete non-threat, but her attempt at being more adult by drinking coffee is actually a very realistic "child trying to act like an adult" thing.
