ooh. happy to see a manga for this came out.
The art style gives it a good vibe. Very soft and cozy. Very fitting for what this is.

I think they did a better job explaining Lacey's thoughts, but fumbled her anxiety a bit. I am concerned about if the art can keep up with the different tones. We've already seen that there will be some shades of melancholy... and we are, of course, reading the story of a girl who helped slay the demon king. Such a soft style can really work with those vibes, but it can also be a sign that they aren't comfortable drawing those tones.

I think I prefer Lacey's design in the LN, which does a better job making her look like a string bean, but I don't dislike this doll-like Lacey either.
