A calamity a god of destruction, salvation a guardian deity a protector, its all about perspective and intent. what this yokai fails to understand is power itself is not evil, power itself is not to be feared, it is the intent of the one that uses that power that should be feared.
by taking an antagonistic stance and assuming that akatsuki will use their power for evil you create the very monster you saw. intent is everything and akasuki has shown given support his intent is to create peace. so why turn a potential blessing into a curse. rather you should focus on becoming a ground for akasuki. pull him back and stop him from falling into the abyss
