Okay, I'm a fan of Botan - tragic that she's resorted to buying her boyfriend who also would probably hate/fear her if he knew the truth, but.

It's a nice gig for Sara, at least! And it would seem Sora took particular exception to the Yuki-Onna's using money to purchase love. Curious as to when we'll get that expanded.

I think that was just Sara being a merchant. I think we saw her haggling before? And the type of merchants who love money are usually portrayed as trying to underpay if possible, or at least get the very best deal possible. Sara at least tries to portray herself as a heartless merchant.
