oh good, glad to see him actually rise up and knock Shinomiya down a peg. The dude just feels so smarmy, and even if he's not actually an antagonist in all of this, everything about his character design and demeanor makes my hackles raise when he shows up.
Sora's got some real stuff going on, though. Clearly well-off, hints of potential ties to the Exorcists of old? And the sense that all his riches are familial, and perhaps earned...."distastefully" and in a way related to the Yokai.
He's effectively escaping the world by staying with Sara, and whether he's using her easygoing hospitality to shelter and shield himself or if he's got some deeper motive, it remains to be seen. But I like that he's getting some real depth to his character, and am interested in seeing more of his backstory revealed.
Also glad we got a Tengu showing up. One of my favorite Yokai, and he seems pretty cheeky; should be a fun character for Sora to have to contend with.
