Art style looks like the artist cheated. Instead of drawing, they rendered three-dimensional objects and used a uniform thick line for the shapes. The lack of actual drawings this chapter shows...

I wouldn't call it cheating, you can find quite a few manga which use that method. Like Gantz's mangaka was one of the pioneers of it.
This artist is definitely rough, might be rushing to keep up with the deadlines so the art isn't very clean.

She's going to be something much more interesting than just another waifu. She's my favourite character from the WN. But unless they add even more changes to the manga, she won't really appear until after the current arc. But they've made quite a few interesting changes already, so maybe she'll show up early.

I kinda wanted to know Solvia's backstory too, most likely another innocent young girl that was manipulated by evil corrupt church figure and ended up as a tragic "Saint Experiment" that didn't work out either.

Or at least just show her soul ascending peacefully after decades if not centuries of mutated agony.

So there's a group of people trying to circumvent what the goddess provides for various reasons. Some of them are members of the clergy but don't believe in her (or think she's unnecessary), and use resources meant for church functions to conduct research.

There's potentially a separate group of non-believers that took the failed experiments in for their own purposes. Though I think they're part of the same group.

I suspect someone's gonna be real mad to learn their parents were taken in by an occult "branch" of that church, brainwashed into letting her go through all that stuff, and then watched them get killed when the branch tried to cover it up to prevent the church from seeing what's going on and beginning a purge of heretics and blasphemers. Especially once they realize the people who took them in are responsible for the management of said branch.
