Tristan was gracious in his defeat. He doesn't seem like a cut and dry villian. He just seems to want to test his strength and have a grand battle against a worthy opponent. The hero is still an idiot. At least his friend seems to be level headed. Don't know enough about the saintess yet to determine anything definitive about her.

Oh yes, this as well! I am really glad that this guy is actually content with his defeat, merely taking it as a sign that he still has plenty of room to grow, and that he now has a good litmus to measure himself against.

That said, he still seems like a total battle-junkie, but I guess that's par for the course given that his family is all about martial prowess.

The "villain" side seems to have a lot of likeable characters while the "hero" side is a bit mixed. The saintess seems sketchy, the fiance is a mess, the King's a pretty reasonable lad, the prince is an absolute (ey) prick, and the hero is the shining example of a nob head.

How's the web novel, for the people who already read it? Do these characters have developments, growths, and changes as it goes on or is this gonna be the typical villain isekai but the roles are reversed story? Just setting expectations.

It mostly the prince,hero and saintess all have different reasons for not liking Arc. For the Prince it's just that i think he has a superiority complex against arc and hates how he is better saintess and hero same reason but hero also has another reason

One has to wonder, how do they act right after giving that whole speech and everyone coming back into the mansion? They can't just resume their work like nothing happened, their leader just yelled out his plan.

Honestly sounds hilarious to me at the end of that page, with everyone having intense expressions then they come back into the house to eat dinner or something and change back to their resting face
