This is some old bullshit. Bullshit that after all of this build up, the MC's not beating his brother's ass like a rented mule. Bullshit that he's had "all the burden put on him to be kiiing", and especially bullshit that there's some shadowy reason to redeem all the bullshit he's done so far.

So to reiterate, this some ol' Bullshit.

The worst part of the brother's self-righteous bs and extreme violence, is I know when this is all said and done we're gonna be asked to forgive him and move on like it is nothing.

Getting a bit tired of the "my actions were not my fault, so please forgive all the horrible things said and done" trope that keeps cropping up in fantasy manga.

Still, maybe this will surprise me, and my complaint above will be rendered moot. We'll see...

So... since the MC was just mentioned to be the "only person to contract with TWO spirits," I feel like this is the appropriate time to pull out the second one?

(Probably go through the prince whiny-ass flashback next chapter, then the explanation of why it's dumb and whiny, with an MC flashback that ends with him going over 9000....)

Either way, this is just a really stupid duel.

He's not there when his brother put slave collar on FMC either 🤣. The writing is horrible plain and simple.
