ah, as i thought, the heroine is reincarnator as well.

i just wish she's just want entertainment and Friend instead aiming for prince or even harem like the usual plot.

i love that one when the heroine turn out to be reincarnator as well but she just want to live in peace so when she found out the Villainess isn't actually evil, but just strict to other because she's responsible person, she ended up become her friend instead

Hopefully the heroine isn't crazed and selfish like so many in these types of stories.
If I were MC, I'd track her down and see if she is a reincarnator; let her know you've already broken the story, and if she tries to get it put back in place, he'll have her killed (but give her a reward for taking away her possible good fate).

Given that the characters in these stories are rarely surprised by their reincarnations, because of the 'previous world stories' they've read... Why are they always so shocked, or don't consider, that there are other reincarnators? They appear more often than not in these stories. :thonk:

Also, prediction time: The heroine is going to fall in love with the boy who lost his leg, but take a while to realise it.
I was thinking the same thing! I totally ship them! I love seeing stories like this where characters fall in love with characters completely different than the ones that they're 'predetermined' to be with! I really hope she falls in love with the apprentice boy!

Reincarnated main female doesnt seem like a bad person, but she wants to meet main male of massacre route is kinda a red flag.
With how much of a sis-con Cain is I have a feeling that Cain himself is the ML of the massacre route.

How could the Diana appreciation page not include the image of her jumping with her arms tucked on page 28! The image was so good that it was what reminded me there was going to be a Diana appreciation page at the end of the chapter but then when I got to it the image wasn't included!!!

Well, they haven't shown much about her yet, so it's a little too soon to be sure. But why does it seem like every manga makes the reincarnated heroine a complete asshat? At least when the manga is from the POV of villainess or side characters. Why can't they be like a half-decent person or only be in love with one person? They always have the same personality too. Super delusional, obsessed with game and its routes, egotistical, and dehumanizing everyone around them. Idk, just feels overdone at this point, but I guess it gets people reading.

Thanks for the TL and hard work as always!

Yes yes, manga logic makes all this moot, but can't help but try to game the system.

Honestly feel Cain is trying so hard to avoid the game's pitfalls, that he is creating unforeseen stumbling blocks to trip over later. As long as he fixes the the underlying problems, the truely unrecoverable scenarios become less and less likely.

Take the prince for instance. Cain has done the hard work of correcting the environment that led to the prince throwing Diana away. But he has continued to squish any possibility of their future marriage. It's unnecessary. He only needs to remove the bad endings, and allow a positive path forward to emerge.

The same logic can be applied to the heroine. Once she is located, improve her environment, guide her to a non-antagonistic path, and let her flourish. Her being another reincarnated does pose an issue, but as a commoner Cain has lots levers to pull to bring about a balanced future.
Fate works in mysterious ways, especially when it's convenient for the protagonist in a visual novel.

Even when the meeting between the prince and Diana was terrible, the royal family instead continue the connection through their interest in getting Cain as a close vassal. He could have never forseen that if there was any reason for the prince to choose Diana, it was to become his little brother. He did everything right but could not avoid that inevitability.

At the very least, there is no fixing the underlying problems if he can't come in direct contact with a capture target. There's only so much he can do as a 7-year old even if he's an aristocrat. And well, the holy knight route kinda needs him to defeat the demon king, lol

Probably same reasons half of the work depicts 'Hero' as an asshole, "subverting expectations". Another one would be necessity of 'villain' in the story, coupled with uncertainty to where else you put them or which way they should go. And here are results, in villain/villainies/banishment genre stories supposed to be 'morally good'
characters became victims of 'circumstances'. :fml:

Guys, he said our comments motivate him to keep going on scans and try harder. We can't keep pushing him like this while he's sacrificing sleep.

Let's turn a 180 and tell him how horrible a job he's doing so he loses his motivation enough to sleep it off * saying this sarcastically *

Seriously, though, as Samuel L. Jackson would say: Go the fuck to sleep.

Sorry for the late upload 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️
Sorry for the late input(cracked the phone, took two days to get a new one)
Anyway, here are my suggestions:
P. 8 "computations"? I assume it's meant to be "calculations", as in math?
P. 12 "civic district"? "Commoner district" sounds more natural.
P. 21 "became a disgraced"-> " Was disgraced/fell out of grace"
P. 31 the last sentence is both out of order and poorly structured
"And so everyone in the mansion/ started seeing me as a boy, that was/so embarrassed, he burnt his diary"
Or something like that.

But that's the point? Cain doesn't need to fix everything, only fix the environment that leads to his sister to such terrible situations. Yes fate is still going to push her into the limelight, but if Cain has his way the person she is will be completely different from the antagonist she was in the game.

Think there is something else you haven't taken into consideration. This is only the setup phase for the game. Yes Cain is only 7 now, but he has another ten or so years the plot, plan and prepare for the events that occur in the game. He has a decade to alter the environment of the setting and prepare his sister for her future trials.

This is also why I said he is trying too hard. In typical overachieving protagonist fashion, Cain is trying to squish any and all possible bad outcomes. This is an untenable reality. He should only work on creating an environment where Diana is smart and strong, and has the support of both her family and friends.

As the saying goes, Shit happens. You can't stop the bad things from trying to drag you down. But you can prepair yourself and those around you to roll with the punches and be flexible enough to come out on top.

Fixing Diana's immediate environment probably isn't gonna stop the prince from whoring Diana out. It won't stop an assassin on a murder spree. It won't stop her from getting possessed by the demon lord. Who would he be doing a favor for by taking it easy? He also needs to work on the capture targets, as they seem to tend to be directly responsible for her endings.

Her demise in every route so far is not of her own doing alone. And fate seems to be working against him that whatever he does might just not be enough.

He does have a decade to prepare, but that doesn't mean he should take it easy. The more thorough he is, the more options to "roll with the punches" as you say he will have. And if he did things early enough, he doesn't have to work on the problem for any longer (hopefully).

Yes, yes it does. The Diana from the game was firmly of the vile noble archetype. Cain has changed her environment to be more caring, and instructive so that she will be raised into a more friendly and thoughtful person.

That in of itself should greatly change her future, but Cain has gone further and taken the prince to task along with the family of knights. So not only will Diana's personality be different, the Prince and the Knights with predisposed to protect Diana rather then just offhandedly kill her when she becomes possessed.

There is also something to be said about the magical training that Cain is putting her thrue, and the almost guaranteed enchanted items he will be supplying her with.

So even without touching the female lead of the game, the Diana she will encounter with have a vastly different personality and the support of her friends and family.

Are you ignoring the part where I said that her demise was not of her doing alone? Again, the prince whores her out, everyone gets killed by a crazed assassin, or she gets possessed by the demon lord. The prince was unloved, lonely, and raised to be a sociopath. The assassin grew crazy with guilt and took being a murderer his identity. And there's not much to be said about becoming the literal enemy of humanity. Even if you could say that she could avoid drawing the ire of the prince or the assassin by being good, I don't think it's the same that she could avoid getting possessed.

Also, we found out that the heroine is another reincarnator with knowledge of the game, and she would very likely work towards raising flags, furthering along Diana's fate. If it means antagonizing Diana, it wouldn't matter if Diana alone is changed.
