There was an arrow involved in the previous chapter. And she was not wearing armor. Hopefully the story will come back to the initial plot and not just sweep all that under the rug.

At this point, I suspect that another wolf fired that arrow.

The fact that the wolf girls is so strong and a important member of a whole beast village makes the "saving of her life from starving" from the last chapter even more unbelievable and forced.
It's as if the mangaka had no idea how else to set up their meeting... Or she was never in any danger anyway and just faked the whole story as reason to kidnap her. Still a weak plot but at least more believable.
