Well I was gonna complain why she didn't mention anything but that was resolved. What I find really weird though is why have anti cheating/magic but not anti spirit detection at tests? Seems like an easy to exploit flaw. Also can just remove ink? What a weird spirit ability if it's unique to her then normally I gotta imagine she'd be closely watched for cheating cause if it can remove for sure it can add.

Can't comment as much on the lack of spirit monitoring, but might be cause of differences in how they do things? Like the variety of spirits makes it less possible to monitor them successfully, all the more so for weaker ones perhaps?

As for the weird usage of a spirit though, brownies are, in usual mythology, typically depicted as helper spirits/faeries and ones that specifically tend to keep a home clean in return for milk/bread/whatever food the story feels like saying. So it's less of an oddly specific ability and more a slightly unique usage of a minor spirit's specific set of skills.

Was thinking the same. It's especially weird that the bully group didn't also use some spirit to cheat themselves to a perfect grade. If it's so easy to temper with someone else's answers, surely it's easy to to fake the correct answers on your own sheet.
Seems like a very cheap way to insert some bullying drama.

But then still raises the question why she isn't monitored if she has a specific spirit that can affect stuff like that. Specially as we know the school knows what everyones spirits do.

Hmm I think the manga version toned down on what actually happened and how she answered all those papers

If I recall, instead of a spirit erasing all the answer she wrote. Her stationary went missing instead. Not wanting to leave answer sheet blank, Briget uses her own blood to write the answers (which really is too hardcore IMO) Allthough she got full marks, the teachers was of course aren't too pleased with answer written with blood so she got a 0 for it

Do recall, she was quite intelligent to begin with, just acting stupid because that’s what her fiancé wanted. While there was likely some loss of knowledge, she did study quite a bit in preparation for the exams
Yeah one doesn't really lose knowledge although her memory would have been a little rusty. It's also a weird plot point cause she was intelligent then suddenly goes dumb during her fianced to prince, would be a little suspect is all.

Hardly. That doesn't even count as a slap on the wrist.
I really wouldn't call the school's #1 bogeyman telling you "I really don't like what you did. I'll be keeping an eye on you" "hardly a slap on the wrist". The girl is terrified.

Now, will that girl do something stupid again? Almost certainly. But that's more on her than on him.

I gotta say I prefer the manga version. I thought it was weird that the professor's response in the web novel to a student
writing everything in blood
was "she's mocking us! instant fail!" rather than "...shit, getting dumped broke this girl's brain." Plus, it's just such an extreme response to the problem. Having it be a case of a spirit interfering works better and keeps the conflict tied to the students rather than needlessly escalating the hate she receives from others.

Let her be terrified all she wants. What she did had consequences. He should have dragged her to the teachers and have her spit everything out so Brigitte could retake the exam.

Brigitte almost fails her exam going through intense mental stress (just imagine being in her situation, I'd have started crying then and there) and Lisa gets told not to do it again. How is that a satisfying conclusion?

And not some nobody either, a Dukes son at that.
So what? She's twisting a prince around her little finger. (For all we know at least. That guy is either a complete moron or a manipulative control freak. Not sure yet.)
