Does the author have it out for mothers/mother-like figures? That's the second one that we have seen in a backstory that has died.

On a more serious note, finding out last chapter that there is some sort of feeling that is going to bring them together is interesting. I am guessing that this loop will involve the other members of the party he had as a result of them having the same feeling as Lauro and seeking Albus out. Maybe this is the loop where they can finally break through and save Fiona.

ok 3 chapter in a row and there another great character in the team.
hopefully there more people manage to break the "memory reset" barrier
I have a hunch that Albus alone won't meet the requirement to save Fiona..
but more people with the same heart to save her as well.
True Route where Albus get all his major member early on in right place and they all have the right requirement to skip all the side quest.

Seeing the last 2 chapters and this one, are we even sure that the loop we’re seeing are in the right order ? Maybe this one was before the one from chapter 1-10, or way after… or maybe I’m reading to far. I guess every char that was in the party will get a loop at some point

Albus could have fired Lauro in the 35th loop, which explains why we don't see Lauro in the 36th loop. So, I guess we're in the right order, but yeah, things can get confusing if Albus keeps flashing back without mentioning which loop it was.

No, thematically this is the correct way to present things. It's important to know the real premise of the plot then slowly build up each character into the version of them that CAN save Fiona.

Albus is really incredible, getting this far in under a hundred loops and still remaining wholesome to boot. I don't think we've had a looping character who is this charismatic and open about what they are doing.
