Idk if the author plans to have this loop be the "loop" that leads to a happy ending for Fiona & everyone else. Part of me believes that this loop might be the key factor to the perfect run of the loop since his companions' souls remember their past selves' experiences. Going to go off of my guess in a previous chapter, with this reveal of the frozen witch I'm assuming that this is basically the state the witch was frozen in once she made the hero's loop (as I assume his "gift" is her magic), as she's maintaining it. And so Gina's goal being "being able to see her master again", that's just something that's naturally going to happen as an effect of them managing to save Fiona, because once Albus successfully finishes his journey with keeping Fiona alive, there won't be any reason to maintain the magic anymore and she can release the loop.

I think it's more like he's finding ways to stop the demon lord without fiona turn into one.

The first loop we read is he trying to speedrun to see if time would be a factor.

What he doesn't know, is Fiona's past when she was called but his brother offer himself instead.

Probably one more epilogue run where Albus cheats with a new game plus where everyone but Fiona remembers and they go out of their way to meet him.

Since Albus thinks that the faster he defeat the demon lord the better chance he has on saving Fiona, a time-space magic may just be the key.

Or, if anything, trapping the real demon king under a spell like the accident shown in this chapter at the right moment may also just do it.

So in one loop, Albus didn’t go back in time right after Fiona died, he waited for some time, even until they buried her, to go back. Makes me think this must have been one of his first loops
