In fact, there’s another series (still untranslated) Sunday that ALSO uses a post-demon king defeat setting. It’s like Shogakukan saw Frieren’s success and thought its setting is what drove most of the interest in it.

Usually, when there's great sucessful series it's only matter of time until many copied it to death. Yet somehow, such a great series like fireren barely have any copies. Which is sad, because we already have too many permutation of fired from hero party, otome game villaines, great mage from the past, or something-something trash skills
