Mira's explanation is actually meta commentary on how the author was unable to come up with a satisfying origin for this whole thing but in the end it doesn't matter as long as the games are fun for the readers

@abconline well the author through the characters kept saying that there was no answer, the whole point was the games, even those who claimed that they knew the answer either don't know for sure, or died before sharing it.

The way i see it, even that seek for answers of the MC is a meta commentary for the readers that kept pressuring the author for anwsers, but ultimatly there isn't none.

in the words of Kyuuma,"if you feel that way, it surelly is the truth" There is no real answer besides the one you believe to be the answer...

It's kinda of poetic if you stop to think about it.
