Drama is over, great!
But I fucking hate the "you didn't kill it, hand over the reward" trope with passion.
Its over done, its stupid and no one stop them and they did it in front of the employees, if she didn't kill the wolf what make you earn the reward, is that all the mid-ranker do? It just doesn't make sense

exactly. even if she stole someone wolf head, that money is not for you to take. if anything, guild will hold it to confirm if any foul play happen. that money will be given to original adventure that kill the wolf, not other adventure. what, if true owner comes, you gonna give that money to him? ofc not. Guild members should interfere way earlier.

You know what? I think this chapter actually sold the manga to me. There are many similar isekai stories with an OP protagonists traveling alongside a mentor, but this might be the first time I ever see the mentor character being such a pathetic sobbing mess, pretty hilarious to see tbh.

Eh... the reconciliation feels kinda forced considering the mental downward spiral the MC was going through. But either way I don't care about the whiplash of going back and forth over this. I'm just glad to see it quickly resolved so we can move on and forget about this, the sooner the better.

At least this didn't get drawn out into an insufferable story arc that lasts 10-20 chapters long.
