Well, that's certainly true. The problem is that Teichi has still 9 volumes to translate. π also has 9 volumes in total, but I'm more intrigued by it. For now I will probably scanlate some short stories though, after I finish Lunatic Circus, I guess.They're all worth finishing tbh

Not all short stories are translated. For example the recent "Sodoma 1985". And then Plastic Girl...I don't think it was fully translated either.
I'm pretty sure what's translated of Plastic Girl is the entirety of the manga, it's a short artistic volume. Didn't know about Sodoma, it's recent stuff I guess.
Anyway, translate whatever you want, it's all cool and your ongong projects are cool as well. Have you considered cooperating with someone on Furuya though? Surely you're not the only one interested in his stuff.

I'm not sure about Plastic Girl. I think there's more than that short chapter. At least I hope. I've recently bought a volume called Plastic Girl for 19 euro, if there's only that short story I'm gonna get really pissed off, lol
About cooperations: if there was someone willing to translate Furuya's (or other authors') stuff, I would be glad to 'work' with them. I've done it before for 2/3 manga, including another one of Furuya. But finding translators (from japanese) is pretty tough. I'm afraid I will never be able to have a scanlation group larger than 2 people, considereing the way I work, and also the tools I use (not many people use Gimp, for example). It's also difficult to coordinate multiple people...at least I'm certainly not good at that.
Also, I'm not sure until when I'll be able to scanlate stuff, so I'm like in a hurry, right now...
In this case I'd finish what I picked up already (if I were you).
Sometimes people translate from other's translations (like from Spanish to English for example), also possible to use AI tools for that (I tried tinkering with various programs a bit, though the results are usually quite subpar, but the OCR+automatic translation is usually better for European languages than for Japanese for example). Maybe it can improve in the future though. That's just for desperate situations though, I guess, haha, for people who have no hope someone will ever translate something they wish to read

Anyway, it seems that the Plastic Girl volume I bought should have about 100 pages...Considering that the chapter here on mangadex has about 30 double pages, maybe there's something else? Another (short) story? Some extra stuff? Well, I guess I'll find out next week.

Nope, no new pages...only some new illustrations. Maybe I will scan them, if my scanner is big enough...
