Funny how I was just in a similar situation like this recently, but I gave a ton more money than that and I don't think I'll be getting it back. There was much more pressure and desperation than this, too. Got really stressed that I might have fallen into identity theft too because of how much one can access just from someone's phone number. Got all my cards locked and haven't heard anything strange since then, but I learned not to be so charitable after that.
