Japanese are build differently. It's kind of cute that after getting hit by a hard object in the head hard enough to render him unconscious for a relatively good amount of time (based on the school nurse's words), the dude is still in the school infirmary. In reality he would be in a hospital and would have got a CT scan done already.
They must have an infirmary for a reason, right? Schools over here just have a first aid kit, likely an AED somewhere and an assigned teacher or janitor who knows how to apply bandaids. Local mini-hospital wards are a thing of manga/anime/hentai. Every school manga/anime with relevant scenes has an infirmary and someone with a fulltime job looking after it, so they must exist to offload actual hospitals. Or hospitals are really far away? Or is it just a hoax by the content industry after all? lolIt's kind of cute that after getting hit by a hard object in the head hard enough to render him unconscious for a relatively good amount of time (based on the school nurse's words), the dude is still in the school infirmary. Yeah, they seem to be excellently equipped for school infirmaries. multiple beds, and all that. It's not really relevant for head trauma, though, especially when unconsciousness was involved. But then again, comics in general, not just manga, have exceedingly long traditions of depicting that a hit in the head (for example with a blackjack) just renders a person unconsciouss perfectly safety for a couple of hours and that's it.They must have an infirmary for a reason, right?
