Ah! So i wasn't the only one who felt that the main character might not necessarily be a woman (maybe crossdressing? Dunno)! I find it strange how the japanese are so quickly attracted to "smiles". "So you take a later route, just to pass that place where the worker has been trained to greet you with a smile and that smile is one of the most comforting things of your day". Sad as fuck~

I felt that too. I'm actually wondering if the ambiguity in gender is intentional, as another one of those "outside" things that are ultimately irrelevant to who the individual really is
