Only a true SADIST would censor an erotica manga :angery:

It is......interesting. It's very frank about its subject matter, and I liken it to "staring into the sewer of the human psyche, but under the pretext that it's performance art".
The themes are heavy around sexual deviancy and the nature of taboo and societal norms, with the focus being how the MC relates to his community as a man.
It's uncomfortable, but in a way that makes you want to keep reading, and it kind of revels in the disturbing themes it raises, but it doesn't glorify them.

I personally like it, but I mostly treat it like literary voyeurism into the mind of a broken individual struggling with his higher and baser selves. It's absolutely not something I would recommend to anyone I know IRL who I don't trust with helping me bury a body.

Idc about spoilers so what exactly mean by deviancy and disturbing? Like wtf are his fetishes that u would discribe it as disturbing?

For an erotica their dynamic aren't exacty erotic atm, seem like a lukewarm read tbh. Maybe when sensei embraced her role, thing gets more good, but I could see author drags her indecisiveness quite a bit and the escalation start slow.

Just when I remember this because of this manga, its alrdy nuked out of MD, sadge.

at one point the ML raids the company bathroom trash can, stealing the FL's used period pads and taking them home to masturbate with them. Eventually she notices that they're missing from the trash can, sets up a hidden camera pointing at the trash can, and catches him. He also regularly consumes rape porn because of his twisted relationship with women.

None of this is glorified though, and even the ML talks about how much he disgusts himself.

Mostly though the art is unsettling but weirdly beautiful, and the internal monologues and narration are super compelling in terms of painting the picture of a man who has been conditioned to hate who he is, by virtue of what he is, and how he grapples with his base needs against the norms and expectations of society.

Thank u so much cuz the fetishes are alot more tame than I would have expected. So maybe I'll give it a try

I tend to err on the side of overcautioning with that as a general rule, yeah.

When I initially said "disturbing" (maybe "unsettling" or "disquieting" would have been more accurate) I mostly meant the overall feel to the series. The art coupled with the subject matter and the way it's narrated & presented gives it a very unsettling feeling, which serves the intent of the author well, but wouldn't be for everyone.

But I think it's a neat series from that specific standpoint, even if the plot itself isn't anything novel. If you end up enjoying it, all the better.

Yeah, those blacks bars are not doing it for me. I need whole enchilada.
In all seriousness, Masono is pretty damn erotic, sensei has no chance.
