This was a really lovely series- and I'm very happy with how this plot line ended. I admit I spent a while Very Nervous about how the subplot with the idol would shake out. But I think this is perfect, and very very sweet. I appreciate that the answer wasn't "and everyone gets Some Kind of Romance" at the end. Lifes bigger then that.

What a fucked-up company! We have competent worker who's able to do different types of works, it's really bad, let's not hire her. I'm not sure if she has a reason to "love it" after such ridiculous reason for rejection. It's not like she's backstabbing her workmates or stealing their jobs. Company just prefers lazy incompetent guys if they don't stick out. Typical case of infamous Japanese approach.

All in all awesome series. I was afraid Eri and this guy might end up together, that would have been way too forced and unnatural considering realistic tone of the manga, but thankfully it didn't happen.

Thank you for the translation:hearts:

This manga status here is completed. But, on MAL it's on hiatus?

They are being paid to do the work equally. There is a lot of problems with hiring someone who overburdens themselves. One: why even have other employees in the first place. Two: what do they do when she suddenly goes on strike, leaves or just not works? Who is gonna take her place? If there is no one there, they will have to hire new people and then train them all over again. How much more time and money are they gonna lose? And this not a “Japanese” thing. It is happening everywhere. If the damn job requires 2 people then it is 2 people, taking up more won’t help you advance through the ranks any faster

Where did I say they need to replace other workers with her and make her doing everything alone? For any good company it's better to have capable workers who have knowledge in related areas and in worst case scenarios can help their co-workers or even temporarily take their workload. She is overworking and trying to do everything by herself partially because she is trying to get this job. And it's better be this way than some lazy ass, who just trying to push their work onto others and doesn't know a single thing outside their areas of responsibility

You don’t know if they are competent or not. She just simply doesn’t trust them, no matter how competent they are. Because they are not her, and they will never do “as good as her”. Hogging all the job make you seem too willing to do all the works pushed onto you. At that point might as well lay off all the other employees yeah?

I said it's better being too hardworking than being too lazy. And company that refuses to hire competent worker just because she is genuinely trying her best and taking more workload than she should is pretty shitty company. Moreover they acknowledge that she is important for them, but for some vague reasons still can't hire such a valued employee. Why? I don't see a single reason why good company would treat a skilled professional like this. Besides, as permanent employee she probably calms down a bit cause she won't need to prove her usefulness anymore. And why are you so obsessed with firing other employers? It was never implied that she should replace them. If anything she'll boost their overall performance
