I feel like we are meant to have seen the pre-serialization for further context.

Honestly I like Rui more in the pre-serialization. She seemed more convincingly seductive and her facial expressions better expressed that even though she was seductive, she was also an inexperienced immature teenager. The aunt was also more resistant but gave in in the pre-serialization but here it seems she's already more or less giving in to temptation. The pacing in the pre-serialization I think is better too. Like it feels like the serialized version is either acting too quickly in some spots or slowing the pacing and padding in other spots. You know what weirdly had this same issue? Dragon Ball Super. Battle of Gods and Resurrection F' in their serialized forms were kinda inferior. Sometimes the pacing of a single self-contained story does things more justice than the serialized version that often feels like it has to pad or pace things weirdly.
