To be boringly analytic and blunter than a wooden club, it was just Asahi being a virgin shy boy, who couldn't handle Hinako's sexiness. He's under an illusion she doesn't consider him a man at all, so he's desperate to "respect" her by keeping his cool and treating her strictly like a friend, never more. So, he pushed her away here so that she wouldn't stimulate him and make him excited, which would, according to what he believes, only lead to further frustration. He doesn't want to fall for her even more because he firmly believes nothing romantic can ever happen between them. So, seeing her like that was too much for him and he totally lost his cool.

However, I prefer to pretend I can't understand why he would do such a foolish thing.

Well, reactions aside, I do want to commend the author for making a lucky sukebe event seem natural and not just a guy walking into a room where the girl was changing.

He entered as she was fully clothed (minus a bra) and was about to leave the room and accidentally flashed him coz something dropped.
