I see, what worked for Shino to overcome her's brother death, doesn't necessarily had to work with Nozomi too... I thought (and many thought) that the ring would do something, but I dare to say it made things even worse, so if Heidi can help, then welcome to the cast! and of course, let's see what's Heidi deal while we're at it, of all the new characters introduced so far, I like Heidi the most (because previously, what? angry kouhai that turned out okey-ish after a while but she's still upset most of the times and then absent minded guy who used to be the brother's best friend).

Panicked Nozomi is so cute. Damn and Heidi is as bitter as Nozomi. This is going to be a great relationship no matter what Kind of relationship it be.

@DailyBacka3 Don't feel confused just because some people still want to make you believe she is a man. As long as author doesn't rightout tells us, Heidi stays a woman. And even if She is a man. Who the Heck cares. I like her. Great new addition to the Cast, because everyone else so far was not suited to be a good caretaker of Nozomi's problems.

Looks like Nozomi and Shino will be yet again kept separate for a while, since it’s Nozomi’s deveplopement time. I’m guessing Heidi will play a big role in it. I can’t say I’m a fan of keeping them apart, cause there’s hardly anyone interesting in the side cast to make those chapters interesting. BUT as long as we’re done with that boring ass bike dude (and almost everyone from Shino’s side) and switch to Heidi I’m feeling optimistic.

She looks like an interesting character, I’m hoping she’s gonna help Nozomi pull her sh!t together and if they end up dating I wouldn’t mind either.

The idea of Nozomi+ Heidi dating has some nice promise and my head already goes trough all the possible scenarios. My fav would be that one of them will see the other as substitute for their lost partner? I could imagine Heidi probably falling for Nozomi. Which could most likely end in rejection. But AHH!

Jep introducing Heidi was a great idea to Spice the at this point stale manga up again! Whatever happenes, I'm ready!

Romance could be a possibility, but I think this'll be more a "heal each other" sorta subplot. I'm not convinced Heidi is talking about death - maybe she was married and then came out/transitioned; or had a childhood girlfriend and then got into whatever it is she's doing now (I mean, maybe she's "just" a woman, but then she almost certainly wouldn't be called Heidi ...), so she feels like she can't ever see them again since she expects a bad reaction/rejection.
But Nozomi is actually somebody who has lost someone in a true final sense, so she'll encourage Heidi to go face her fears. And that in turns will make her realize she must let go of her own fears as well.

Or somesuch thing.
