The instant dismissal of thinking about overseas just because of MCU kinda pissed me off. As someone who does actually read comic books I know that MCU shit does not translate to better comic book sales. By extension I also get to know other hobbiest collectors so I know that tokusatsu fans outside of Japan are often next level in how much they are willing to spend because of how much Japan neglects the foreign market. A truly untapped market that is ignored for the stupidest reasons
