It wouldn't be the weirdest shit I've seen swept under the rug in Japanese schools, and I mean looking at this manga, mode of dress, neckties, PTA... It's just a Japanese school - world building has been a footnote, it might as well have happened on Earth

Yeah, they should. The author wants to put in T-back shots though, so practical wardrobe is out. Honestly leggings with a tail cut-out makes the most sense, but I don't know if I can trust this artist to make leggings look good.
