The story seems quite good for a first chapter makes you wanna read more, I know there's a website where you can find 5 chapters with a weird translation that varies in quality if you want to see a little bit more for yourself !

There's a continuum but indeed the first chapter is more a proof of concept even if you'll find past characters in future chapter.
