You have to taken into context about the time that the manga started in 2015, during the early days of one of the worst drought of talents ever from La masia. There are basically no academy players that managed to break through the academy into the first team. And those that have potential like Kubo, Grimaldo,...can't compete against the literaly treble winning team that Barca have at the time. So when things started going down hill, La masia can't produce any replacements for vacant spot, which led to panic and incompetent signing with big money. There is a reason why Fati was so hyped when he first break through, bro was the genuine first big talent ever since the 87' generation and why his current situation is so damn sad. Hopefully with the 2004-2007 generation, which is stated to be EXTREMELY talent, it would be different

what a stupid comment to make, it is not like the author can reference the present time. The reference he is using is clearly the Bartomeu era barca when they started buying players like crazy and pretty much ignored La Masia. If you are not a casual football fan you also know they are using more youth players now partly because they are cash strapped and can't afford players they want.

Also It was only when Xavi was appointed that Barca had a full restructuring in La Masai and player development departments. Next time process things in your brain first before you comment.
