Also this is not how I remembered Barca worked honestly. I know that this manga is sometimes called "Barca glaze the manga" and it's not totally wrong lol but Barca has never been know as the club that sell their academy players. In fact it has been one of the most criticized point about how La masia worked, especially during Bartomeu's era where they didn't promote them but also didn't sell them well either. We lost Thiago, Grimaldo, Olmo, Cucurella and many more for little and even sometimes for free. La masia has never and probably won't be in a long time to be seen as some kind of cash machine like how Benfica, Ajax or Chelsea's academies are seen. It's simply not how La masia is viewed. The fanbase would have an public execution for whoever decided to turn the academy into a money farm, that would be politically suicide for any Barca president and board
