There's a creepy pasta about a kind of "living" zombie apocalypse where people have to eat living creatures to not die of a disease, and the narrator is a person who hasn't succumbed to the disease, but is being enticed and badgered day after day by voices outside of their door trying to get them to come outside so they can eat them. All of that is to say: Sakasaki reminds me of that narrator. To her, leaving her room again must be like plucking up the courage to die. Though I don't have the guts to really judge the kids outside of the door, either. Or the class 4 solution. The alternative scenario was Shi just never coming back to the dorm one day.
