I was kinda hoping (before Tomonaga killed those 3 hostages) that he'd just get a spare heart from the immortal guy. But this seems fair to me and and I'm a little surprised Hinata seems surprised. Taking a heart from the guy who killed you before is very different from taking it from your friend whose never harmed you.
