well ello' there lets begin!,
First off the art style is unique and everything being traditional and colored was impressive, at times it did feel a bit cheap but overall I think it's good art.
I do have some things to say about the story though, (minor spoilers)
I have absolutely no clue how we got where we did, the male Mc is just a cry baby meat sack that does nothing meaningful except letting himself be eaten, I thought we'd get a change when he got a wepon or powers but no that mood only lasted for 2 chapters, the male Mc never feels important or unique and he just suddenly decides not to be depressed for plot convenience, tbh he's just annoying. 3/10 character.
The rest of the cast isn't much better, nothing special aside from agonizing stupidity, alot of the characters just change who they are and how they act at random.
I would also like to note that I read this all in one go to get the most seamless and true story, but the story just didn't pull me in, character death just felt like a way to move the plot forward, the enemy's are not all that smart or threatening.
In Conclusion,
The art is o.k. 4/10
The characters (especially the male mc) are very shallow and boring 3/10
The story doesn't really go anywhere so I'd give it a 3/10
[Overall a 3.2/10]
as much as I'm a sucker for a depressed mc I just don't like how it was treated in regards to mental health and actual depression/ self harm/ and suicide tendencies. The story made it seem like a flip of a coin choice to be suicidal or not and that's not a real good message q(•.•)p
