I stayed in Kyoto for a week. I didn’t do any tourist stuff, really.
In town all I did was wander a semi-urban neighbourhood and/or day drink.
it was mainly my base of operations for a bunch of crazy BS.
I always think of my crazy days when I think of Kyoto. Sobering up on slow, ancient night train to Sapporo, dehydrated with no potable water anywhere, delirious and hallucinating…
I actually have nostalgia for those days, insane though they were.
