This is not a criticism of you specifically but I have to wonder is there some sort of alternate format for series home pages that masks or hides some information? Because when a manga is marked as complete it's usually also provided with the number of the final chapter. But it feels like almost any time someone sees that "completed" tag they have no idea that you can usually also see how far it has to go before completion, and some people even assume that the completed/hiatus/ongoing tags refer to scanlation progress and not the original manga's publishing.

Now that the series is licensed that's the official English title, per the TL's note at the end. And for better or worse (I lean towards better most of the time), MD prefers to use the official licensed title when there is one.

I didn't even pick up on that. That's such a... nothing title. "Bouquet for an ugly girl" is a bit of an exaggeration but at least it relates to the contents of the story. "April Showers brings May Flowers" sounds like someone just wrote the first line of a bad limerick, but couldn't actually finish the poem and just doubled down on that first line.

Maybe it sounds more shoujo-ish but even 'plain' might be better or so, maybe there'd be too much backlash by the western audience? Then again there's been some 'translator drama' to where ppl are like "AI are replacing their jobs b/c they inject their own terms into it" like one "BL/crossdressing" series making the boy of that a 'trans girl' even though there ARE trans manga out there that's diff from the crossdressing/genderbend genre

The phrase is used to generically comment that trouble now can bring benefits later (obviously originating from some weaksauce that couldn't handle a wee bit of precipitation), so it's not entirely inappropriate for this series. The original title is waaay better though since it gives a little bit of insight into FMC, even if there's not an ugly girl in sight here.
