LOL bear bells.

I've been backpacking out in the wilderness where you might run into black bears or grizzly bears.You sometimes see their poop on the trail and so you can tell which ones are which. Black bears mostly eat plants and berries, and their poop is about the size of a large dog and you can see undigested berries in it. Grizzly poop is much larger, and sometimes contains bear bells. Yes, that's a joke because the bells are fucking useless. The black bears just look at you like you're a stupid asshole for making that noise. I haven't seen a grizzly bear in the wild, which is why I'm still alive to type this.

The bear bells are silly and can actually have the opposite effect. But, it is good to be make noise in the forest to make your presence known. That helps cut down on the chances of a surprise encounter with a bear.
