Again why should he? He's not obligated to help a bunch of strangers, especially those same strangers who would easily resort to murder over the smallest reasons.

Exposing your abilities and supplies to a mob of strangers isn't smart at all, you can't guarantee how they'll treat you. They might treat you like a hero or after realizing your ability they may start to see you as a resource to be controlled or manipulated. They may even take drastic measures such as slavery, violence and coercion just to guarantee you use your power

The smarter play would be to only reveal it to those he already trust and those he may meet in the future after judging whether they're a good person rather than blindly telling every person he meets about his power and supplies.

"We help each other" and if you pay attention to the story he does, he's just not dumb enough like certain people to do it blindly and instead chose the smarter & safer option to work with and help out those he can trust.

And his "Hobo friend" was an acquaintance at best. You must also have selective memory, he never hesitated to save the guy after seeing him through the drone footage, he noticed he ran out of food and immediately made plans to rescue and take him in.

Like you seem to be pushing this narrative that he's this evil sociopath to the point where it just feels forced. While also trying to conveniently make the very obviously untrustworthy gang mentality set of people seem like saints. After being killed for trying to help someone in his past life of course he's going to be on guard towards who he decides to help.

Anybody will be wary of trying to be a Jesus wannabe after that especially for a group of strangers who have shown to stop at nothing to secure their own skin.

And also there is no guarantee he can just go and save everyone when until recently it was shown that his powers could be quite taxing on his stamina, how long would he have gone trying to feed everybody before keeling over?
