I wonder who's the one deciding the exact circumstances of when the status turns red. "Outside of war" isn't much to go by, anyway. Not to mention if some bandit attacks you and you happen to slay the bastard in self-defence, you'd get the red status. The same red status that marks any murderer as well. In a violent world, that's not much of a way to judge a person. Not to mention, simply being involved in a war is still not a good indication of anything. You might be a horrendous soldier going from house to house slaughtering unarmed civilians as a part of genocide, but since it's not "outside of war", you are still a jolly good blue status fellow.
