@optimi There seems to be 2 pages missing in this chapter. I wasn't able to find any free jp raws for this series ... This chapter also seems to be from some sort of reboot(?) instead of the original series that this MangaDex title entry is for. (I did find raws for the original, but that wasn't helpful here ...).

- One page is missing between pages 12 and 17. There are only 3 pages in between the numbered pages instead of 4.

- The other page is page 44 as we can see pages 43 and 45 with no page in between.

Hello,

This is a reboot of the content, but it’s essentially the same as before, just with additional material. The new version is thicker, featuring exclusive content such as an interview with the writer, his conversations with other mangakas, and other special tributes.

Regarding pages 12-17, there are no missing pages. These pages, which contain mostly artwork with little dialogue, are sometimes left unnumbered to better showcase the full artwork.

As for page 44, I will review it again.

I’m handling everything on my own — scanning, cleaning, typesetting, and translating — all while working a full-time job. I hope you understand that this might lead to some minor mistakes. Please be understanding. However, I truly appreciate your feedback.ً

@optimi Thanks for following up and offering to double check and for working on this series. I hope I didn't come off intimidating or anything, that is not my goal at all. 😅

Since this is a reboot, I think it is best to have two entries in MangaDex for the two series to not confuse the two. We can either create a new entry for the new reboot and then move these chapters over, have the new entry be the original series and keep this entry the way it is to leave people's follows intact. Currently it seems like there are only 30 follows, so not a huge deal either way, imo.

As for your comments about pages 12-17, does this mean that there was an artwork page that was intentionally left out from this chapter upload? If so, I personally would think it should still be included in the chapter (even if it is a blank page) because it sort of affects the reading experience for the double page reader mode.


Anyways, you are doing a great job so far and it is even more impressive that you you are doing it solo! Hope you keep it up!

Thank you for getting back to me. I’m still new to this whole process. So, I might sound a little tense.

Regarding pages 12–17: there is just one page missing between, which I’ve double-checked and will be adding. As for the rest, they aren’t actually missing. What I meant is that some of the pages in the book are simply not numbered—especially the ones that focus more on artwork or background scenes and contain little to no dialogue, like some of the pages in that 12–17 range. Since the book doesn’t number every page, it might seem like more are missing than there actually are. And they are indeed uploaded within the chapter.

I hope that explanation makes things a bit clearer. And just to reassure, I’ll definitely upload the one missing 2 pages I mentioned.

Also, if possible, I’d love to keep this page and maybe remove the older version’s covers from the art section. I’d like to mention in the synopsis that this is a reboot and then create a separate page for the original version. Since I’m new to how all this works, I’d appreciate any guidance on how best to approach that.

Thank you for clarifying everything and fixing the missing pages! No need to feel so tense with me. 😅

I understand that page numbers are not always present on every page, that is normal. But when you originally mentioned that there were no pages missing between 12-17, that confused me since I was counting the number of pages. I thought you brought up the artwork stuff because there was some sort of artwork page that you intentionally left out or something.

Anyways, very glad that we've gotten those two pages fixed. Page 44 of them was half of a 2 page spread and made it much that scene much more satisfyingly!


As for the MD series entry stuff, I went ahead and created a new entry to mirror the existing one and tried my best to update the existing entry for the reboot. I've tried to update the covers and etc too. I replaced the existing covers of the reboot with higher resolution ones I grabbed from the jp amazon pages. If there should be any tweaks or additions to the alt names or etc, please feel free to ping me or make a site report with the details. I am also usually more easily reachable via discord.
